At RESILIENT PEOPLE we tell stories about ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
I created the site because of my own story.
In 2016, our family was hit with some devastating news. My husband was diagnosed with brain cancer, glioblastoma to be exact. Following months of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, he is once again living a normal and vibrant life.
As I tell our story to more and more people, I am learning that some have dealt with their own challenges and found ways to turn their negative into a positive. This is how the idea of the website came to be.
Some of the people you will meet are an autistic teenager who is a world-renowned artist, a young deaf woman who was bullied as a child, and a man who created a foundation to comfort cancer patients.
Their stories will make you wonder, "How did they deal with it and end up okay?"
RESILIENT PEOPLE have bounced back and created something unique to help themselves and others.
